Finding Great Deals

We are getting closer to the time when we leave for our trip to visit family. Suddenly we realized that the tags for our trailer would expire while we were gone so we drove over to the RV dealership to get one that would carry us through until we got home again. Of course I had to take my dog Tory as she doesn't like to be left behind. She may be a tad spoiled. {haha}

When we arrived at the dealership Bruce took care of dealing with the tags while I took Tory for a walk around the store. By the way I love this dealership. It is the Tennessee RV Super-center near Knoxville. They are the friendliest, most helpful, caring people. They genuinely want to offer great service, not just take your money. Well they are family owned and not a big chain dealer. If you are ever in the area and need anything visit them and you'll be happy you did.

As Tory and I were looking at all the goodies I spotted a generator. We needed one but I wasn't willing to break the bank for it but I noticed a sale tag on a Briggs and Stratton model so asked the salesman about it. Turned out it was a display model and was $250 less than a new one! Very low hours and quiet running. We travel with our dogs and really need one to run the air if we camp in out of the way places. I really enjoy the NFS campgrounds and most don't have hookups.

There are many places to find great deals on your RV needs. If you don't see one just ask. You never know. Amazon is another good place as well as yes I hate to say it but Walmart even has good deals on some RV items.

                               What deals have you gotten lately and where did you find them?
